These sound interesting but some pics would be helpful............
It is often discussed whether a mentalist should or should not use the classic deck of playing cards.

This deck of cards is in fact often combined with the magician and not always well suited to the needs of a modern mentalist.

There are also decks dedicated to mentalists (such as the deck of Zener cards) but have many limitations and does not allow you to perform effects if not specifically designed for that specific deck.

The "Memo Mind Cards" have been designed with the aim of providing the mentalist an object that is not presentable as a classic deck of cards, but that has all the features of this versatile instrument, as well as other elements that make it unique .

Then presented the "Memo Mind Cards" as a special deck of cards used in psychological testing and storage and you will have an extremely credible and look for your performance.

Another element that distinguishes the "Memo Mind Cards" from classic card decks for mentalists and playing cards, is the use of simple but eye-catching designs that immediately capture the imagination of the viewer who does not have to imagine strange abstract symbols, but objects and real elements. This allows the mentalist to create many effects such predictions with real objects, original revelations with gestures and effects of duplication of the design simple and effective.

The "Memo Mind Cards" are structured with a set of principles extremely powerful but totally hidden from the public that will allow you to perform many of the effects not only meant for poker cards, but also many other experiments specific for this type of deck.

With the purchase of "Mind Cards Memo ', you'll be sent the password to access the secret area where you will find constantly updated PDF and video effects you can do with this amazing tool.

I agree, it would be good to know a little bit more about these cards and what sets them apart from others.

Why does it seem to me that the aforementioned deck looks almost identical
to the PLF Picturecards of PARALABS which are either part of the DEPICTING THOUGHTS
set or sold separately as a spare deck of 50 different picturecards, if my memory
serves me well?

Just a thought...

Best,

Many similarities with the PLF at first sight, indeed !

Hi

I'm Max Vellucci, the inventor of the Memo Mind Cards.
The principles of the MMC are totally different from the Paralabs cards.

You can see some pictures and the video trailer on this link:
http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=54313

If you want to receive free the manual in PDF, send me an email to the address info@maxvellucci.it, so you can see all the principles with which I designed the cards.

Thanks

Max Vellucci

From the Jheff's Marketplace of the Mind Newsletter:

This is yet another version of the Mental Pictoria deck, but
it's a very nice, professional one. Each card contains line
drawings of recognizable images with each image being
included twice, one in red and one in blue. There are some
mnemonics, but they are very easy. I was able to learn them
in ten minutes and my memory of things like this is not the
greatest.

The blue back design looks like a giant wheel and the cards
are marked so that you can tell not only what color the
image is - red or blue, but the category of each image.
There are four categories: food, objects, transportation,
and animals. This is in addition to the usual Mental
Pictoria set-up.

My only criticism of these cards is that they could have
been designed so that the four categories could correspond
to four suits. Also, I'm not sure the markings on the back
are necessary. I don't use them at all. Additionally, the
Mental Pictoria deck had about thirty cards in it and the
mnemonics may well be easier to learn, but this deck has
fewer images which are repeated twice. I think this point
is negligible, but some may consider this a point of
contention in their purchasing decision. To me, these are
minor complaints.

The deck comes in a clear plastic case, which is suitable
for some very strong routines. You can have someone select
a card, put it back in the middle of the deck, put the deck
in the plastic case, yet you can still know exactly what
card was selected.

No instructions are included in this. A webpage link is
provided so that you can download the 12-page instruction
manual. There are no routines detailed, only a few
suggestions. Experienced performers will know how to use
this and routines that can be done using it. This is mostly
definitely a professional utility item and, if you can use a
deck like this, then I certainly recommend it.

I've been using these at my close-up gigs the last few months and think they are great alternative to playing cards. One of the effects within it I have combined with another effect I use and the reaction has been that good I've started using it as a closer.
The only negative I would say is the marking system I feel isn't that necessary as they only tell you the type of card they are. They do though enable you to do a nice ESP type match up routine if you like that kind of thing.
It's worth mentioning there is also a great stacking system with them which is easy to remember and very deceptive.

Very versatile item, highly recommended.
