This is a proprietary illusion which is not in the public domian.
Please purchase it from Viktor Voitko and support the creator of the illusion. Here is the link. http://www.magic-voitko.com/magic-canvas |

Search again, this time for "Artist's Dream". I have no idea why Vikto Voitko thinks he "owns" this illusion - it's been around forever and while there are many different versions Voitko's is NOT new by any means.

Artist dream is an excellent black art production illusion but is slow and deliberate and not the magic canvas which is an instantaneous production

The black art version is well known, and the second least magical in my opinion. The least magical is Voitkos' (again, in my opinion) because it relies on a false belief the audience won't notice how the lower half of the "easel" is deliberately hidden from view much of the time. . |

Interesting. I notice you admit the illusion is unique and different and that makes it proprietary just as is Kevin James snowstorm.
He did not create the snowstorm but he did create a original method that is his. I will not comment on you assessment of the illusion as that is not in question only its originality. The performers who use it have paid for the rights to this unique version. We all have our preferences and shouldn't degrade a magic piece or performance just because it is not what we like. This "not liking something" does not justify making it okay to steal. I am done with this trolling. |

Come on really? Victor's version if very different from Artist's Dream. It looks different and the method is different. If you like Victor's mood, do the right thing and support the creator.

I don't believe Voiko's version is either unique OR original; in fact, a superior handling of the EXACT same method can be found in Jarrett - FAR predating Voiko. There's nothing here to "steal" because none of it belongs to Voiko to begin with. . |

The basic method might not be unique or original but the way Voitko uses it for his version of the artist dream is !

Don't forget the interpretations of the Artist Dream by Paul Daniels, David Copperfield and the Pendragons.

"Have our magi had any training or direction in the art of magic? Have they stage presence, or can they act? Have they studied the intelligent public to know its capacity for thinking, to judge what will mystify them?
No, they have not! They just got hold of a bunch of tricks, and walked out on the stage. So, — they are only a bunch of "drug store magicians". --Guy Jarrett |

Also there is a very free and modern interpretation of the Artist Dream by Nicholas Night & Kinga, called "Spray Paint".

Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...
