Thanks guys for the size info.. I figured they were different sizes..
I love the c.1935 "Goertz" legal size leather attache you use to carry.. That sounds cool and mobile..(Unlike the Book Butler) I have the Luna trilogy and purchased this really cool antique case that holds them perfectly and still have room for pearly gates when I get that some day.. Love the look of the Book Butler and may end up getting that for my Dopps Collection.. Unless I come across something similar but for cheaper.. (Which I may find at Hobby Lobby)

Kuroth, I love having my triple Lun@ in the OE key box, which is beautifully aged as usual with OE, holds the books and the three keys. I use Pe@rl* G@te$ as a lead in to the Lun@ trilogy books, then I use the keys.
Just something to consider Best wishes! "Doc"

"Luna" and "Pearly Gates" are the code words for these effects. There is no need to code the code words, as they aren't uttered in performance (I hope!). Coding the code words renders the search feature on the Café useless for members looking for information on these effects. |

Thanks, MG. Not used in performance of course, but, shortsighted I guess, as I did not think about other newbies who might be searching for such here.

Yes, to those who have PM'd me about this, the Dickens Doppelganger is in fact sold out, and sold out means forever when it comes to Doppelganger.
In the interest of full disclosure, I do have a copy that I have promised for the annual Prof BC raffle at Doomsday in Whitby this May, but it has long been earmarked for that purpose--so if you read about it in May it is indeed one of the original 110 Dickens made during this one-time offering. I am even now working on the next Doppelganger's coding (Ph.O.t.O. for those in the know). Still aiming at an early spring release (March/April). Thank you sincerely, members of the Doppel Gang, I genuinely appreciate your support, enthusiasm, and excellent ideas that keep taking the effect to new and better levels. Christine Daaé and her unusual, musical admirer are up next. Warm regards, BC

All
Have finally been able to squeeze in time to immerse myself in Dopps for routining. (I have Shakespeare and Dickens presently.) Has anybody else noticed that there are no "Lollipop" (Q pages) In the Dickens Christmas Carol book ? Was this intentional ?? The performance manual references that every book in the series has these pages.. (My manual was released after Shakespeare but also include Xmas Carol.) I have issue #36 - but this should not matter. Cheers |

I'm sure you're all as pleased as I am to see that the Dickens Dopps made it into the TOP TEN in the Café's Trick of the Year competition!
Congrats, Prof BC! |

Though ideally the 18 votes for "Dickens Doppelganger by Prof BC" would have been combined with the 2 votes for "Christmas Carol Dopps by Professor BC". The effects are somewhat similar. Slightly OT, but it's nice to see 4 votes for Prof BC's The Resurrection Cemetery Gate Key in there. I love those routines. |

I just received my volume of A Christmas Carol second hand and as a long time bibliophile I adore how the book feels in my hand. It positively reeks of age and authenticity. Now to delve into its inner workings!
