Has any one bought any downloads from Fearson's site? Is the stuff any good?

Steve is an excellent marketer. That said, you'll get much more value for your dollar buying some good books. Most of the effects he sells can be found in one form or another as just one of many effects that can be found in some of the standard classics of magic.

I downloaded an effect from the Fearson website entitled ThumbThing. WOW! That is all I could say about it. 2 cards are stapled face to face and have a hole cut through the center of both. You place your thumb through the center and pass a playing card between the 2 stapled cards and right through your thumb. It is very VISUAL and easy to create. 2 thumbs up.
