In defence of "zwarte Piet", the black helper of the Dutch Saint Nicolas: he is NOT and never has been the slave of Saint Nicolas!
It is also a long time ago, that Piet was used for threatening to punish naughty kids.

The discussion about his skintone, is only between adults. A small minority keeps referring to slavery, without knowing the whole story behind Saint and Piet.

It is my strong believe that Piet does not belong to the "Monsters" displayed here.

And Zwarte Piet had nothing to do with christmas either.
The festivities around Saint Nicolas are held late november/early december.
