Well! having read about it, seen videos of it..I still couldn't work out CMH so I stumped up the £5.99 and bought Ammers booklet.
Like most of the best and effective tricks it's so simple and leaves you thinking you paid over the odds for such a basic method. However, it's the nuances and timing in the booklet that make it so good. Question.. Which Linking of 2 Bands, can anyone recommend?. I'm looking at Andy Leviss "Linked 4 Life" and Bernard Sims "Really Linked". Are there any others and can the the Bands be used first for CMH and then move into the linking and finally leave the linked ones with the spectator ? thanks Howard |

I know it's not really what you are looking for, but you got to check out Pinnacle!
It's a four phase routine using a rubber band and a borrowed ring. Completely impromptu and a great follow up for CMH. It can be found on Penguin Magic along with a demo. -Corey <><

Howard,
Chris Kenner's Missing Link is the very best. The reason I say this is because there are no gimmicks and it can be done with almost any bands. It is a great follow up to CMH. The effect you mentioned are excellent but Missing Link is more magical IMO. PM me for details vinny |

I'll second that for Chris Kenner's Missing Link, because of all the beautiful displays. And of course CMH.

I'll 3rd the notion for Kenner's link.
Sidenote: If you'd like to see "Missing Link" in action, I posted a vid-clip over @ sleightgeek.com http://www.sleightgeek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1994 |

I second the vote for "pinnacle". Why link to rubber bands when you can link a borrowed ring? Much stronger!

Doug,
I tried to Register at sleightgeek but I keep getting SQL database errors. I can find no information about who to email to tell them about this. Can you help in any way?
Warmest regards

James pm me and I will send you a demo of missing link .
magiclou writes ,why link an rubberband linking a ring is much stronger. These are two different effects . but both can be used in conjuction with one another. Also when I link the bands and it is dangling from the other band I can have a spectator tug as hard as they want to prove the bands are linked . This can not be done with Pinnacle vinny |

Vinny,
Thanks for the demo of Missing Link. I finally fathomed out the second stage and can now perform it. It really is an excellent piece of thinking from Chris Kenner. thanks again my friend Howard |
