I have just been asked by the mayor of wirral to perform one trick on stage to 1000 people and I have the requested trick but what about patter just on the spot or quickly make up something

It is always best to know what you are going to say. Practice your body movements, patter and the way you enter and exit. You want it to be second nature so that you don't have to think about it.

Every little thing is seen, such as never reaching for the mike until you are standing in front of it.

You only get one chance to make a good first impression. So make it good!
