Saw this announcement this morning. John and David like the "Live" format, so will continue with it every other week.
Thoughts? Sammy

I liked the live show, don't know exactly why but I thought it was good !
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

Are they going to still have a show every week but every other week will be live?

I understand the shows will be bi-weekly. Maybe they will have to rename "Worker of the Week" - perhaps "Find of the Fortnight"?

It seems like a very good idea.
They spent big chunks of time talking in depth about dross effects some weeks when you got the message it was rubbish early on So less frequency and better quality feels like a good idea |

I agree. Quality over quantity anytime.

Lately the show has lacked interesting effects, so probably a good idea.
The live audience did nothing more for me. |

Hey guys, we're also adding some new features to the show which take a bit more planning, so I hope that you guys will enjoy the new format! Any questions, please ask and I'll do my best to help out!

Every other week / better reviews and products? Sounds good. I like seeing what's new, but I wouldn't mind seeing some reviews on items that Dave and Sean think are real classics, as well.
Personally, I don't like the live audience, but whatever. Also.... I hope Craig makes an occasional appearance. No offense, Sean - you're great. Robert |

There is no reason to limit the reviews to new stuff, why? A lot of us don't care if it's new or something 100 years old, as long as it's good, and still available. And reviews of bad stuff is also helpful because we can avoid getting it and it can be entertaining to see them trash bad stuff. You can also review more kidshow stuff, a lot of us do kid shows. Also, you can do interviews, talk about news in the magic world, teach or discuss tricks. Demo magic out in the real world - you've done that a little but that could be done more.

Oh, well...I look forward to the weekly show, don't care for the live audience, guess I'm outvoted....guess I'll just start watching one of those other review shows
Who's brilliant idea was the live show? Too bad the people who watch iWPR were not even given a chance to share their opinions before this live show suddenly appeared Seemingly out of nowhere. |
