Barry,
That of course is obvious and indeed if you wished you could produce a folded card from the wallet. However the salient point of my post was that it may not be to everyone's liking that a card p****d from the top of a face down deck appears face up on reveal. |

And the salient point of my post is to palm it from the bottom of the deck then.
It's only a tad more difficult than a top palm; and in many ways has better cover and affords greater misdirection if/when the heat is your hands. And why on earth would you ever want to produce the card folded......when there isn't a need to do so?

I have ordered one after spending days studying the broad range of reviews and links on the vast assortment of available choices. Clearly one's ultimate selection(s) must be personalized and based on individual considerations, as there is no single "best" wallet for all applications. I have a JOL Plus for jacket pocket use, viz. Dream Card et al, but the HRW is my choice for hip pocket, impromptu use. Looking forward to its arrival. Merc, thanks for your detailed and considered review, and to all for added perspective.

I own "how" wallet and really like the envelope priciple. I was wondering if it's possible with "replacement wallet" somehow. I don't mind using a smaller envelope for folding card. I've actually used the envelope idea with real man's wallet. Any thoughts?
