Can anyone recommend a good fire book please. I'm sure this is going to start the conversation of "don't do fire stuff at kid shows" but let's try keep it on track.

several on this page including an electronic version. i have used several over the years sadly all cheap and never held up. these ones are better made.

Magigjoe, I think I have the one called "Flaming Book" on the Magic Warehouse link Sam provided above. Had it for years, never had a problem, and really enjoy using it!
