Hi, I've been working out a table hopping routine with some sponge stars (yellow) which I purchased from Cody Fisher magic. I am now looking for a jumbo yellow sponge star for a finale to my routine. Does anyone know whee I can purchase a soft jumbo star. Or how could I make one?
Thank you Cabrera

Cabrera,
One of the best ways to make sponge "shapes" (stars included, although I've never done that) is to take sponge material, thoroughly saturate it with water, and freeze it. When it is rock hard (give it at least 48 hours in the freezer), then simply cut it with a hacksaw. Then let it thaw, and wring out the shape that's left, which should be what you want. |

Peter's spot-on. You can get loads of colored sponge from most craft stores.

Hi Cabrera:
David Ginn had Goshman custom make him Jumbo Sponge Stars, which I believe he still sells. I think the stars were made like the Ball-to-Jumbo-Square, but I think it will still work for what you need. You may have to e-mail David; I'm not sure if he sells them on his website. I remember seeing them in one of his "Autumn's Leaflet" flyers that he sends to his customers. Ron |
