I realise that its a huge illusion with plenty of logistical and real safety concerns. However how many magicians perform on a regular basis these days the sensational box less version of sawing through a woman with a buzz saw? I think it is an illusion like the impaled which when seen, really creates a shock and awe factor. Yet it seems a shame that its all too much of a rarity that you tend to discover via historical footage rather than being able to see new performances of it. Is destined to be a classic illusion consigned to the history books?.

Read your first sentence again! I think this type of illusion is best suited for someone with a stage show and a somewhat permanent location. I have been doing magic a long time, and I have never seen the buzz saw done live.
