During my research on magicians that have performed in Sweden 1700-1800, I´ve come across Louis Figér. He made three tours of Sweden, 1846, 1854 and 1862. According to his first advertising, he was from Prague. Swedish newspapers gives a lot of information about his act and style of performance. He was f ex. the first magician in Sweden to perform in an oriental style in 1862. Does anyone know more facts about this magician?

Your name caught my eye! (We almost "share" the same name!)
My paternal grandfather "came over" from Sweden in the late 1800s. He passed away 50+ years ago, so I wont be able to ask him! Best wishes! --and,I wish you well in your search! Dick
