Hello. I am currently working in a place where they show each week the German football league (Bundesliga) live on big screens. It is a huge restautant like place. I would like to do a prediction effect where I send a real letter to one of the bosses a couple of days before the game. And inside is a prediction which matches the outcome of the city's team (Cologne) score.
I saw something like this before but I don't remember where. Can you provide me with effects which come closest to my desired effect? Thank you very much, Markus

Much appriciated for the name of these effects. Is there one headline prediction Which stands out the most or is regarded the best one?

One that stands out to me as being sports specific is "A Sporting Prediction" by Bruce Bernstein in his excellent Unreal. I have used it live at a baseball game to great effect!
Of course, there are many methods in print that could work, but I happen to like the thinking behind Mr. Bernstein's. |

Take a look into 13 Steps, there are many methods that would work.

What do you guys think of Alvo Stockman's - Post Mentalism? Would that meet my criteria? I also read nice things about Kenton Kneppers Perfected Prediction and Devin Knights Glass Box prediction...

No, with postmentalism which I own, you cannot send the real prediction until after the game has ended. Of course though, you create the illusion that the prediction was written and sent before the game started.

It's been around for a long time, but it remains of of the best newspaper/sports/letter/headline/whateveryoulike predictions ever conceived. "Before the Presses Roll," by Ned Rutledge and J.G. Thompson, is in their book "Between Two Minds." It's currently available as a very reasonably priced eBook at: http://trickshop.com/between-two-minds.html

Other options that may fit your needs are T.A.Waters's Swindow from Mind,Myth and Magick, News Event Prediction from Annemann's PME or Ted Lesley's Early Edition from Paramiracles.
