Based on Triple Coincidence and Trilogy, this truly impossible prediction effect will leave your spectators stunned!
Daniel Ka visited Hocus Pocus yesterday all the way from Spain, and when he showed us this trick of his, we knew we had to carry it. We filmed his performance of this mentalism prediction effect, so be sure to check it out. Never before released to the magic fraternity, this effect is from a working performer's repertoire. http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/?p=29181 EFFECT: Two spectators think of two random numbers from 1 to 52, and a third spectator thinks of ANY card, all while the magician makes a prediction for each of the three spectators in a note pad. The magician takes a deck of cards that has been visible the whole time, resting on the tabletop in full view of the audience, showing every card to have a different number written on its back from 1 to 52. After distributing the handwritten predication to each spectator, the magician locates the cards with the two selected numbers and gives them to the first two spectators, and the selected playing card to the third spectator. The spectators open the predictions to see if the outcomes are correct -- and indeed they are -- the selected NUMBERS have the correctly predicted cards on them and the third spectator's NUMBER has the correctly predicted card on its face. This is Trilogy with the D deckers. It's been out years. I have a far better version which has 4 predictions using a single Protea Phil deck. And a third of the price.

I agree with pegasus. Nothing new to see here.
Pegasus, your version sounds interesting. Ever thought of writing it up

Yes Jamie. I will shoot a video in the next few days. I've left the deck at work unfortunately

I pitched this routine to Alakazam back in 2010, shortly after the DD's were first released.
Although nothing came of it I thought that they should be the only ones to release such an effect as it was so similar to Trilogy and Catalysm. |

Absolutely David I remember you showing this to me nearly 5 years ago and remember you telling me that it's Trilogy etc connections made it a non runner as far as a marketable effect as per Alakazam and others . Great effect though I use it a lot thanks for creating it 😃

Thank you David this effect has actually been used on TV as well at least 2 years ago . So those who know where to look will find this , I hope Daniel Ka has given either appropriate credit or has genuinely independently created this ?

He has developed a few nice routines and offers ways for people to modify it to fit their own needs as well. Performs very well and had some customers in the store quite baffled yesterday. |

Could this effect be made up with jumbo cards?

In theory yes, Cardshark make jumbo Double Decker decks - not sure if they do the specific Double Decker deck required in jumbo size - worth dropping them a line.
