How exciting.
The UK's leading working magician will be revealing material from his number one set courtesy of Penguin Live. I'll be in the front row (at my computer screen) for this one.

His work with envelopes is first class.
And his ring and string routine leaves all others standing. See you there Tony.

I remember watching him do a wonderful Confabulation routine (amongst other fine routines) about 20 years ago.
So, I'm already paid up and looking forward to next Sunday. |

I have purchased magic and chatted with him about all things magical and otherwise for the past twenty years. Many of his effects have made it into both my close up set and children's party's show. He may not be the most visual and loud magician around but his technical ability and overall affability makes him one of my magical heroes!
I'm looking forward eagerly to his Penguin lecture! |

I thought that this was a fantastic lecture, and one of the best that I have seen at Penguin.
Most everything is well within the reach of any performer, all routines were well constructed, looked amazing, and were well taught. |

What did he cover.
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. I really enjoyed filming with Penguin. Couldn't believe that the lecture lasted 3 hours and then we had a further 30 mins with the interview at the close. Thought I'd feel wiped out afterwards but actually the time flashed by for me doing the lecture and I didn't even feel that tired. Adrenaline is a wonderful thing, eh?

Hi Mark
Welcome to the Café. Your lecture, put simply, was one of the best Penguin lectures ever. Thanks for sharing so much of your working material and knowledge so freely. Hope to see you around these boards more. Jamie.
