Is that the "Quinta" Phill Smith (mentalism)?

It's either him or the Phil Smith who wrote in to The Jinx (Issue 14) to let Theo Annemann know that homing pigeons only fly during the day. I suspect it's the latter.

I'm going to be pretty miffed if I fly to the US in June only to find the other Phill Smith doing a lecture about pigeons.

The penguin lectures have been, in my opinion, the best thing to happen to mentalism in a long time.

While most of them have been worth the money and time investment the two that stick out in my mind as standing above the rest are Peter Turners and Luke Jermays.

Luke Jermay's lecture was astounding in its clarity of thought and presentation. All future lecturers should be required to watch it. He came prepared and delivered the goods.

Extremely excited to see my friends Marc Paul and Ken Dyne giving a lecture!

Patrick Redford and Phill Smith (I love Mitox) will be great as well.

Thank you Penguin!

I remember when Ken Dyne started posting on the Café. People here didn't believe him and were giving him lots of flack. HA! I remember one specific thred, he mentioned he had a bodyguard escorting him around a concert doing strolling.
He got so much crap from the monkeys here. Where are they now? I'll bet they wouldn't dare post today, lol.
Looking forward to Ken's lecture, should be a killer!

It's amazing how many of the recent Penguin Live Lectures have focused on mentalism rather than magic.

I hope they keep it up.

Do you think it's because mentalists buy more videos than magicians?

Just curious.

That may be true, but I think it also the case that some of the team there are really interested in mentalism as performers as well as from a business standpoint.

At least 3 very good routines that can be used within the mentalism or mental magic context.
And I really enjoyed the coin in glass routine. (I know, not mentalism, but good magic.)

I have the same question Steve. A lot of mentalists are scheduled since the beginning of the year. And you can add the last Peter Turner "At the table". I don't know if it's a good thing or not for mentalism.
