I've heard some great things about his magic and performance style...
I know it's early, but I was just wondering if anyone has seen the new Korn DVD's and what they thought of them? There's only four routines on each DVD Adios, JR |

I have them on the way to me for a review at http://www.coinvanish.com. I'll post when I get a chance to write the review.

Korn is a friend. He has resisted teaching magic until recently. I have seen people DESPERATE for him to release some of his ideas. Four routines per DVD? that's a bargain.

I have seen Chris's Lecture on video before now...excellent well thought out routines with strong misdirection...If the DVD's are similar material they will be well worth getting...skill level is within the grasp of most as well.

There is some overlap to his home shot lecture video, particularly, "One for the bar", "Lip-tak Sighting", and "3 Korn Vanish". Not a whole lot of people have the home shot tape though. Some of these routines were taught at LVMI 2002 as well.
This is first "mass" release of his stuff. |

Hello!
There is something for everyone on these new DVD's. Kohler did a great job on these. The explanations are very detailed as the finesse is important to understand. There are some killers on here that I have used for many years. I hope you enjoy them! Chris Korn |

The DVDs will be awesome!! Just a shame that I guess they will limited in that they will not highlight the zany, hilarious, risque performing style of Chris...or maybe they will??

The videos are good. Recieved mine the other day. Visual magic done with that midwest coin magic feel. Too bad we only see a litlle bit of Chris's off the wall humor. Maybe on thie TV shows he is shooting.

The DVD's are not bad. Some short routines to practice your misdirection.

Very good walk-around material. I LOVE Fire in the Hole! It looks great! Coppa Silva is also great. I liked all of the material.

Are they worth the money though? That's what I ask myself. Chris is AMAZING no doubt in that but I can't see paying a whole lot of money for a DvD with only 4 routines on them. So I'm asking before I go buy another DvD: I am advanced in my coin work and want to know if these DvDs are totally worth buying?

I really liked these DVDs. I think the asking price is a bargain. I think you will be pleased. (BTW- his one coin click pass was worth the price of BOTH DVDs to me). I got a lot of good material from these DVDs. And you don't have to be too advanced to learn this material. Chris teaches you everything. None of the "use your favorite method" stuff we all hate. A good buy!

Twistedace, check out my review on Coinvanish.com. If you want to only get one to keep the price down, my recommendation is Radical Korn.
There are some guys already selling the DVDs used on the Lets Make a Deal forum if you want to pick them up cheaper. |
