I'm looking for the name of the in the hand, silk dye trick that winds up with a silk that's half one color and half a second color? I saw it once on YouTube , but can't find it. I think that it was a Patrick Page routine.

Abbott's Magic has the rights to sell the Billy McComb version.

There are several vendors selling "hald-dyed silk" set-ups and routines. Duane Laflin magic sells a version using a Palmo . Levant developed his own (brilliant) gimmick and routine for doing the half-dyed silk. Paul Rohamy sold a version using black and red silks and a clever CSI theme. All pretty much give credit to Billy McComb but do the actual trick differently.

Abbott' has the rights (and makes) the Billy McComb version. It takes two gizzmos. Most of the other versions use one gizzmo to make the magic happen. About the only thing they have in comon is they end up with a half-dyed handkerchief.

The concept has been ripped off Billy but the method to achieve the final result is different in most cases.
The artist formally known as Mumblepeas!

I believe Viking's uses two "gizzmos", also.
