Found a vintage packet titled Aldo Colombini's Knotty Knot. I'm going through magical items I didn't originally acquire or open so I'm not sure if something is missing from it? Was there any sort of a gaff, knot or something else in there besides just an instruction book? It's not clear by reading the book.
Any info appreciated! |

If I remember correctly there are no extra knots. The trick is somewhat like the Daryl/Pavel jumping knot. Aldo published this in the Linking Ring, shortly after I bought it.

The trick is not vintage, it is still currently available from Meir Yedid, the manufacturer who make it. It is a great rope trick. See the other posts on this item in this section. It comes with a length of rope that has a red section on it. Originally was regular magician rope, now it comes with the popular knitted rope, I believe.

I seen Meir Yedid perform this at an Abbott's GTG one year when it originally came out. It is entertaining and mystifying a routine. It is intriguing, but I cannot say why. It has an appeal and looks like magic with a surprise.

Bill, thank you for the description... I found the piece of rope with the red bit on it!
