Check out this mentalist, he presents 4 envelopes with a $100 bill in 1 of the envelopes (if you get it take it plot), in the end the envelope has a fake $100 bill printed on it's back is the order that the judges pick the numbers according to thier seating positions (from left to right) ! Wow absoloutley fooled me WOW ! I've been doing osterlind's version for a while and trying to add an addition, this fooled me badly and I'd love to use this idea for another mentalism idea, may I ask is this effect on sale ? Thanks. |

It kind of reminds me of Ken Dyne's take on bank night. It is totally(almost) different but handling reminds me of it.

How many versions of that show are there? If everybody's got talent then nobody does. I wish I knew what he was saying, it takes some serious performance skills to pull off Bank Night as your opener when you're openly a magician, especially if you only perform it once. In fact, if I wasn't a mentalist, I would probably think that was a video of a game show.

I believe "Got Talent" is currently airing in 68 countries worldwide, although originally pitched in the UK it actually started here in the U.S.

Thanks for sharing. I thought the routine was good (DISCLAIMER: I did not understand anything he said except "never trust a magician"). I too am reminded of the Ken Dyne handling for Bank Night. Solid ending with the numbers predicted..A little illogical in the way he had the judges choose (middle, then left, then right) and then the way the prediction was laid out from left to right. Is this a cultural thing? Disrespectful to not allow the woman to choose first? Also, without thinking too hard, I am not entirely sure of the method (or the camera cuts)...is this have something to do with the method?
Thanks again for sharing. Enjoyed it! - Frank |

I have a basic grasp of Hebrew, and that helped me to follow the Arabic in only the most basic of ways, just a few words here and there. I did enjoy the routine. I wondered why all of the printed language on and off stage (like the "exit" sign) were in English. Just a basic curiosity. In keeping with the title of the thread, I enjoyed the following routine. It fooled Penn and Teller, so it must be good.

So I guess his version is original and never performed before huh. The ending for me is pretty Derren Brown-ish, great work (Y) !

It was quite a shock to click the link only to see my young 19-year-old self. Thank you MagicalFreak3 for the kind compliment. It's one of the routines I'm very proud of, and it's so flattering that you guys enjoyed it. Thank you

That's a nice twist and turns your mind away from the envelopes at the right moment. Super simple, too, which is always nice.
