It's an old gag-- you pull a colored handkerchief out and another pops up, like a Kleenex box. Never really explored it because I never needed it until now. Now, I'm searching thru the café, Tarbell, Rice, and having a hard time working out what I assumed would be a widely discussed fold for a breast pocket production. Closest I've found is zig zag fold. Any suggestions?

That works...but you should link corners (by wrapping them around each other) if you want one to appear just as the previous one is removed...

I believe you will find what you are looking for on Duane Laflin's DVD Silken Sequences and Steals. As JNeal mentions above wrapping the silks around each other is a great solution which I believe is covered on the DVD (I haven't watched it recently).
Best of luck Mark

If it remember correctly, it is on Volume One of the Rice Encyclopedia that discusses folding silks. You must have missed it. There is a picture of 2 silk corner crossing each other, as I remember.

Page 52 shows the twist that I learned and is what Duane teaches in his Silken Sequences and Steals.

It was also something in one of the Eric Lewis Trilogy books. Different method but similar effect.
I have been doing the twisting tails bit on the silks for 30 years in my Phantom tube. A little mugging, a double take or two and you have something the kids will really react to. Richard

Those Eric Lewis books that Richard refers to, have tons of great ideas, workshop solutions, and inspirations. Strange that these books remain out of print. I would think that the publisher would reprint them... or even simpler: scan them all and put it out as a PDF. I read them many years ago (70's and 80's) and finally acquired a set. Then I scanned them and made a PDF for my Ipad...all 665 pages! A great resource!!

Yes, it is transferable to the pocket. Just think of your pocket as a production box.
