P.S.
I'm sure that you've noticed that none of the tricks that I've mentioned above, have a "by" after the title. Oops! I do use the Pom Pon Stick, which I believe was invented by Louis Histed about 60+ years ago. Otherwise, I perform the "classics", like Color Changing Silk, Serpentine Silk,Boomerang Sticks, ball manipulation, card flourishes, Trouble Wit, 20th Century Silks, Misers Dream, Vanishing Square Knot (from Scot's "Discovery of Witchcraft,--the young fellows call it "Slydini Knot") Breakaway Fan & Wand, (I''ve twice gotten a STANDING OVATION in middle of the show, in Senior High Schools, with the Breakaway Fan!) .22 cal. Shooting Wand, & a Rope routine, etc. I try to present them so that they entertain my audiences, and, they've helped me "make" a living, since I left the Navy, in 1955! (Before that, I was a part time pro since 1945.) I never "got to work" AGT, but, JNeal says that that's OK! (I did do thousands of shows for all ages, and in every possible situation, over my 70 years of performing!) I hope you enjoy reading my literary efforts, and find, perhaps, a presentation idea, that will help you KISMIF, ('cuz that's what ENTERTAINS them!) I have twice re-formatted this, but the computer keeps doing its own thing (cutting off the ends of lines). I hope that the ##$$% thing follows my "layout" this time! ************************************************************************************************************************ P.P,S. KEN RYAN, who started this thread, asking for information about a "loop" method for C&R Rope, has yet to PM me. I have an excellent method, courtesy of my good friend, the late Warren Stephens. I helped mentor Ken Ryan (via the Café) when he started, but, I guess that he has forgotten. **************************************************************************************************************************

Thanks for all the tips everyone! I stopped getting notifications on this thread via email, so I didn't know so many folks had offered help. Sorry about the lack of reply. I've got a lot to go check out now:).
Cheers! Ken |

Dick - I just sent you the PM. And I did not forget you:). I appreciate the help you gave me at the start of this journey more than you know! A lot of folks here I can now call mentors. What a fantastic time to be learning magic.
Sorry for the late reply! Ken |

Dick send me a method I had never seen before -- and I am already thinking up new ways to apply the principle.
