This has been an ongoing joke with Donna and I for years. Seems every time we go somewhere and order sandwiches or burgers she has to take it apart and put it back together: this has to go here and that has to go there.
Do any of you do that or know someone who does?

George, how much reconstructing / readjusting are you talking about?
If I have a burger or sandwich I am sometimes guilty of taking the top off and readjusting the placement of an item or two, if it is obvious that it is not going to stay put inside and between the bread on its own. For instance, a bacon or tomato slice that is already falling out of the sandwich.

It's a perversion. I worry for your safety, George.

I've seen people remove stuff they don't want on it but I've never heard of just moving stuff around. Sounds a bit odd to me.

I do a Zarrow with a two lettuce cover. It all works out in the end.

If there are multiple pickles or tomatoes on a sandwich or burger and they are all piled up, I will rearrange. Also, if the meat is all in one glob, I will move it around to distribute it more evenly, otherwise you don't have a whole sandwich.

I eat it first. Then stick my finger to the back of my throat to bring it back for further analysis.

I sometimes think I waste to much time here at The Café ... but rebuilding a sandwich? This is the first I've heard of it. I don't quite understand it; it all gets mixed together as soon as you chew it.
BTW, I do sometimes eat pizza and fried chicken with a knife and fork. |

That's just wrong. And especially with tea.
