Pretty big news in the tech world. Fraudulent funding has been a concern in the Kickstarter world for some time - interesting that this newsworthy settlement would have magic at its core.

Because they are the backers that live in Washington. About $21 each. The other backers need to file in their state. This sets a precedent, so going forward, Kickstarter fraud will be harder.
