News which may interest you, is the fact that Kareem Abdul Jabar has written a new book, titled "Mycroft Holmes ".

but it just...might...work..." Thanks KOTAH, I will look for this. I think Kareem has also authored other works, this is not his first. Holmes fans may also appreciate the FIRST officially authorized (by the Conan Doyle estate) new Sherlock Holmes novel, written by Anthony Horowitz, The House of Silk. The more serious Holmes fan will never accept the character penned by another author; I understand this. However, I recommend you give this one a chance. It was a joy to hear Watson's voice again. |

I will have to check out the others you mention. As a tie in to Arthur Conan Doye in the Bad Penny thread, I mentioned Arthur and George, a 3 part series on PBS The final part aired this Sunday. Fantastic settings, costuming and camera work. |

Amazon features a Kindle version of Anthony Horowitz' The House of Silk, for $9.99. From the early pages (featured on Amazon) it looks like a very engaging read.
