With the UK version, could you please tell me what bills (notes) are in play e.g start off with a £5 - turn to fade, then into a £10 note etc?
Many thanks |

The gimmick is clever, makes no sound, unlike Five by Xeon Steel. Although I don't own Bill Breaker, I can at least understand you have to use real paper currency, so there is the issue of thickness (and thus limitations about how you handle the bills and about angles - notably on the side and with respect to the level of a spectator's eyes) that you don't have with Canvas. So even if you understand how to build such a gimmick, you still will have thickness issues. But with Canvas you are very free in the way you handle the bill as the gimmick has more flexibility versus one gimmick you'll make with real paper currency. It's an improvement over other bill change gimmicks of the same kind. I don't think I have seen anything as clean as this gimmick.
P.S.: I want to personally thank Kim Tung Lin for his generosity and his time (he knows what I'm talking about). |

Mh1001, the gimmick's thickness would be a positive factor in my opinion - IF the bills looked even close to real. But they look just like what they are - very fake. And to me that's much harder to hide than the thickness of the gimmick.

That's an awfully large 20 Euro note there.

I have a question regarding the canvas gimmick US & EUR.
Is the $1 & $100 bill real or fake money? Because it looks as if the entire EUR version is fake which would be horrible for close-up. Also why is only the US trailer showing the blank middle? I mean that's the whole magical point here. Is the EUR version not possible for going blank after the 20 and then turning the blank into a bigger bill? I hope somebody can clear things up. Thank you

All bills are fake not real, of course. But given how it's printed, instead of having, say, thickness of 4 papers, you have thickness of 2 papers. But although they are fake, I have seen the US version very, very close, but it doesn't look like a fake bill. Probably there are differences with real paper money, but unless you let people stare at it too long without moving an inch, I think this shouldn't be an issue.
As for the next questions, it's obviously that due to how US real paper monies are made, it's possible to show blank middle. Concerning euro version, I don't know if it looks fake. I just know about someone who has this version and he says the gimmick is wonderful, he did not say nothing like "the bill looks fake this is so bad". But more opinions are welcomed of course. I'm also curious. |

Any feedback from someone making its own gimmick with local currency?
