Hi Folks!
I'm new to this area of the café. I've become interested in exploring children's magic and entertainment, and I think puppet work is a near-essential element in that. So, I'm wanting to take my first steps with puppetry and vent, things I've never done before. I've ordered a cheap, but reasonable quality, sock puppet as my first practice puppet, and am now wanting resource recommendations. What resources would people recommend for the following: A) Learning to use puppets without vent? B) Learning ventriloquism? C) Using puppets in children's work, and developing suitable routines? Thanks in advance! |

Tom, you are too modest to mention the only resource he needs. Don't worry, he posted the same on the Little Darlings section, and we sent him your way.

Thanks both - didn't want to become a commercial pitch here on the forums. Appreciate the referral Tony!

I'll second, Tom's way too modest. Best course on ventriloquism that I've ever found is at http://www.learn-ventriloquism.com Check it out. You won't be sorry.
