Dick Stoner's Rope Escape is hilarious. It can be found on his lecture videos or lecture notes. I think both are called "I Spell Magic F-U-N." I use it all the time. Great stuff.

Slydini's cut and restored into professor cheers ending. The professor's nightmare starts with ropes of equal length. At the end I throw out the three unequal pieces of rope into the audience.

I use the standard cut and restored, then cut into three ropes and do Professor's Nightmare. I also do a suspended rope on stage and the no-scissors cut and restore by Vito Lupo.

If you want a nice comedy rope routine, Dennis Loomis' routine is quite nice. Simple but effective.

Another nice routine is by Richard Sanders called three ropes and a baby.
