What are the differences going to be between the two versions?

The one in the link below you will make the card permanently Stick on the glass without creases. The second one( avaible in the next 48 hours) you link and unlink the signed card on the glass without any hidden cuts etc. Sorry for my bad Englisch.

In the picture on the link above, you can see a crease though... So is that a different version?
And how does your version differ from Henri's? |

Sorry forr the late reply. So. The different betwwen mine and Henri Whit´s is: (Honestly). My Version thakes about 10 to 15 Minutes to Buil.d You have to split a Playing Card. But the end result is that you don´t have any creases at the sides. In the picute you see a little creas. That happened after I only link a card by folding it and putting it around the glass.
When you put the gimmick card on the glass you could not see any hidden cuts! Also you don't have to look at the card while you put it on the sten. It will lined up perfectly and you have a straight card without bends. The Second Version appears soon. (hope today or tomorrow). |

Maybe I'm getting old... I don't remember Henri's having creases either. THey might do, and I've just forgotten
What sort of bothered me with The Souvenier was the time it took to put the card on. Would you say yours is faster or slower in that respect? All the best, Dan |

I think by maging the gimmick then Henri White Version is more easyer. But for the end result and a perfect card around the glass my version is lot better.

Resurrecting this thread. I’m just now getting into and finding my way around the challenges of this effect, but man I am so surprised by the amount of people who are writing this off as bad.
It’s an absolute astounding effect. I can’t speak for the examinability of the end result, because I have yet to perform it, but my wife examined the final product (not knowing how it was done) and couldn’t find anything. I’d wager some scrupulous spectators will find and figure out the secret when alls said and done, and some flat out won’t. Those are the breaks. But done correctly, this is what magic looks like. That said, I am having difficulty with two issues. One, is the sound during the move before the penetration. Of course in a loud environment this isn’t a problem, but I’m hoping for tips and tricks to mute that sound as much as possible. Maybe just a loud sniff? Lol And second, the final move, or clean up, is also tricky to nail. I think, having practiced now for a week, taking your time is the key, however using your fingers as if you’re magically massaging the card rather than doing the dirty work. But if anyone has any tips on that as well, I’d appreciate it. I use my thumb and middle finger to somewhat guide everything to get the right placement, but as someone mentioned earlier, if it lands incorrectly, you’re SOL. |
