Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get multi-bob pendulums. Thanks, Daniel. |

Have you been reading Bill's multi-bob book by any chance?

Is there any reason you don't want to make it? Pendulums are dead simple to make - a bit of chain, a weight, and a bead.
I would suggest Mental Craft but I think the site is currently down. You could also check into Divination Magick.

Yes I have read Dr Bill's book and I was going to buy it at Mental Craft but since the site is down because Rich passed away I wanted to know if there are any other manufacturers or if someone else will manage that website.

Mauricio Jaramillo in Columbia has worked with and written a bit about multi-bob pendulums. I'm pretty sure I read something of his back in about 2010 that described good ways of making your own. I'll see if I can dig it out of my library (if I can work out where to start, as it was in a compilation - may have been online and not a book at all!)

A little while ago I picked up Burmese Bells (second hand) and while the tube is plastic, the bells and coloured beads are very easily seen. And with the members of the audience concentrating on one of the colours, the right bell duly responds.
It is now a regular feature in my show and I especially like it as it involves the whole audience. Neil |

I'd get down to your local hobby craft type place and find the bits to make your own.

I made and used these years before communicating with Bill and contributing to Trybil
using a curved stick and objects (bob) of different size and length can disguise the essential difference in cord. I also prefer for the cord lengths not to be in progressive order. Thus, making you own has advantages over any commercial ones. My favorite now is constructed in a harp frame where the natural curve of the top allows the bobs to hang at the same height/level. I allow a spectator to hold the harp and I control the individual bobs from a distance. (no contact) You are wise to explore "non-standard" ways of using pendulums.

I'm creating mine out of a piece of willow branch that came off a tree in my back yard, for the curvy factor.
They are exceedingly easy to make.
