I am a little surprised this book by Paul Prater has not been mentioned here.

Paul walked away from a successful law practice to pursue his dream to be a performer.

He shares his journey, failures and triumph, as he now has a number of shows he is performing.

While he shares freely his "tricks" this book is so much more a how to become a performer guide.

You can get it directly from Paul or it's almost a steal at LuLu with the current discount promotions.

Paul is a rising name and this is a great resource and one of the best books I have purchased this year.

I have not made a purchase of anything Paul has written or put out that has let me down, they have all been gems

They change frequently; it's best to get on their email list for current promotions.

Embryos is a good one. It was my second Prater purchase, but my first book from him and all the extra bits about how to market and his experiences with that were very good.

If you really like the book, I would highly encourage you to go to the book of the year thread here on the Café and vote for Embryos. That would be greatly appreciated. It is in "The Good, The Bad and the Garbage" section under "Books and Lecture Notes." It is the only bizarre book in the running.

Paul didn't gived away enough free book to get review here or what ? so many times, bad books were reviewed as the NEXT best thing in magic/mentalism.... (because followers get freebie in exchange of very positive review) and some great books... passed without any reviews, nothing,... very strange!

You can pretty much place a winning bet that anything put out by Prof BC, Paul Prater, Bobby Hasbun or Gemini is going to be a must have as it will be quality, well thought out and usable in real world conditions (and no of the afore mentioned would release it if they would do it)
