Hello, my friends!
Just a note to let you know that I have a new ebook with (in my opinion) an improved handling for my Assertive Positive Negative. APN got great reviews from the likes of Ron Bauer, Richard Busch, Dr. Bill, Elliott Bresler, Christopher Carey, Mike Ince, and Richard Webster, among many others. But there was one part of the routine I felt could be improved, and I believe I have done just that with "Positive Increases." I can tell you that it has proven itself to me in real-world performances--both paid professional gigs and impromptu informal situations. In this ebook, I go into much more detail than I did with APN, including an in-depth analysis of the psychology and philosophy behind the routine, voice inflection, and body language. Whereas APN was originally a 2-page manuscript, PI is 17 pages. "Positive Increases" is available for $10 on my page at Lybrary: http://www.lybrary.com/scott-f-guinn-m-235.html

Without question, my go to impromptu effect for the past several years has been Scott's Assertive Positive Negative. I love it. So when I saw that Scott was coming out with a modified version, I didn't hesitate to order and am happy I did. I thought APN was pretty flawless, so was curious what Scott added or modified. Sure enough, Scott has found ways to make APN even stronger! Nothing earth shaking - its still a solid, clean, fun, easy to do routine, put now the reveal is even stronger. For $10, if you already own APN, you'll find the improvements worth the price. If you don't own APN, to me it's a no-brainer!! This continues to be my favorite Positive Negative routine that I've seen. Highly recommended.

I know Max Maven's Positive Negative. I don't have APN though. If I want Positive Increases, then should I buy APN first? Or, APN has been explained in this release as well?

While PI builds on APN, it stands alone. You do not need APN to learn and perform PI.

I also agree that PI is an improvement over APN. I like the three part reveal and there are some useful additional tips.
Shouldn't APN now be withdrawn, or bundled with PI? Mike |

Hi Mike,
I don't own APN anymore. I sold the rights to all of my ebooks (except the new ones that I'm releasing now) to Chris at Lybrary several years ago to help pay for the adoption of my miracle son. So I have no say as to whether it should be withdrawn or not. I suppose some will want to compare the two, and some might prefer the old version. Thanks, Scott

I see your dilemma Scott. Personally I'd feel miffed if I now bought APN only to discover the improved PI was available for the same price.

I'm fairly certain if that happened, someone could take their complaint to Chris and he'd make it right. He's a good man.

Good point folks. I have reduced the price of "Assertive Positive Negative" to $4 for those who want to learn the original version. I have also added a note at the beginning of its description which makes it clear that an updated version is available. This should prevent any confusion.

Positive Increases is a very easy read - really liked the spacious layout and use of clear photos. I didn't own APN but knew about Maven's original effect.
I appreciated the 'critical' nuance described on page 13 (2nd paragraph). I wish more literature went into dialog, tone, and timing like this - maybe I'm understudied though. Thanks for the release. =) |
