I have found less is more. Five good tricks is all you really need. However, I bring more in case there are kids or I have a feeling something else may play well. I am selective. They must be easy to carry, angle proof, easy to reset or instantly resettable and I must be totally comfortable performing it.
I find that people want to have a good time so I try and make my performances fun and engaging. It is not so much the effects but how you present them. The best advice I could give is to have fun. If you are, there is a good chance your audience will. Cheers! |
