We splurged on 10 tickets. I bought one with numbers 1,2,3,4,5 and powerball 6. Told my wife all the number are I dependent variables and that combination is just as likely as any other...

If they did have that ability, I don't think they'd be wasting their time posting over here!

I keep hearing about how high the odds are.
Since you are always trying to hit 7 numbers from the same fixed amount of numbers aren't the odds always the same. It has nothing to do with how many people are playing. BTW Like Arthur, I bought 5 tickets which is a rarity for me. |

I'd happily share the prize with a HUNDRED other winners.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

I just threw my ten tickets into the trash and poured myself a nice stiff Jack Daniels. Cheers!

I can predict the winning numbers of every lottery ever drawn unfortunately I cannot predict which day each is picked on. Curse this psychic gift so close yet so far away!

I guess one could set up one’s own lottery with $1.3 Billion and win it every day.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Two of my five tickets had the number 34. Which doesn't win anything.
Oh well, that's $10 down the drain. I won't do it again. |
