Hi Guys,
Just a quick question. I am thinking about selling my riser/loomis cup set because I need to pay some bills. However I don't have any idea what the value of this set is. Any thoughts? http://s405.photobucket.com/user/Floyd_7......rt=3&o=0 Thanks. Etienne

I couldn't tell, but it looked like 2 chop cups, and not a cup set. I could be wrong.
Good luck with the sale and bills. Al

Not a cup set.
Are you sure they are both Riser cups? One looks like a Rings and Things mini chop cup. |

Was sold as combo set by James Riser. Both are Riser cups.

Yes, the two individual Micro-chop cups were both sold also as a set, with the other props.
It looks like you also have the gaff coin that is not easily found, and adds value. Plus the flask. Hard to say what would be the price today.
Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.

That's one of the early versions of the set that James Riser produced that included all of those props. The copper disc isn't a coin, but is an essential part of the routine. Jim's work is top-class and a full set that that would likely fetch a decent price.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler
