Hey everyone! So my good friend Jeff Prace just released his take on the rising card, the Prace Rise, with Dan and Dave. The method is incredibly different than anything else on the market, and it's 100% impromptu. PLUS you can do it with a borrowed deck. The download also covers The Prace Peek, though that isn't mentioned in the ad copy. If you're familiar with Jeff's column in Genii, this is a very different side of his magic, but still just as clever!

Just bought it.
WOW! I've always been a fan of Jeff Prace's thinking. This is some of his best. While watching the explanation, I had no clue how it worked until he finally did it. I will definitely be using this. Practical, impromptu, gimmick free, and an AWESOME trick. This very well may be the best impromptu rising card. Great job, Jeff! |

This is AWESOME! Jeff showed me this in person and it fooled me instantly! The card in fact was in the center of the deck and everything was examinable This is a must have for any impromptu performer! Great work Jeff as always! I will be doing this one!

This is great! Completely impromptu and looks terrific in person. You'll learn this and use it all the time. Just buy it. You'll be glad you did!

Looks good & reminds me of an effect Aldo did either in one of his books or on a dvd.
The difference with this though is it's a gradual "RISE" instead of just a drop of cards & a revelation. I like it. Mike Donoghue |

I don't like how it cut in and out on the box. He shows you putting in all the cards then the box goes out of view, then when back in view the cards are almost half out????? then one of his fingers is in back of the box when the card rises. Not for me.

MR Effecto, if you decide to get this, I am pretty sure you will not be dissapointed. All the best Aljaž |

Bravo! A diabolically clever scheme to the Impromptu Rising Card. At first, I got the impression that Jeff was performing the enhanced version of Erdnase's 1902 Card Rising from the Hands that allows that magician to raise the selected card from the center of the deck using the inherent design of the Card Box and the Bevel Insertion. Soon I realized that Prace Rise is the ingenious working that comes from the creative mind who created GUM, Keylicious, and Phone Phreak. Thumbs up!

Very nice routine. Method fooled me even when he was half way through the explanation. He could have gone into more detail in a few spots but the teaching is good enough. This is by no means easy or self working and it will require a little angle management, but the learning curve is pretty quick if you are an intermediate card handler.

Just finished watching this.
This is very, very clever and clean looking. I must say that I agree with Eric above,... this is by no means easy but as any new technique that you learn, hours of practicing should be a given. I also did not see this working, right untill the last portion of the explanation. Brilliant thinking, I will definitely be using this! Thank you Jeff! Cheers Aljaž |

I bought it and there's a lot fiddling about with things to get it to work and its definitely not one to do surrounded. The video cuts are there to hide some of the work . A clever idea but I don't think I'll use it really. I have the original rising card deck and will continue to use that because it can be done surrounded.

Wow, this potentially fooled me, although the cut away kind left me less than thrilled.
