Ad Copy: Visual magic is only memorable when your spectator gets to keep a physical reminder of the impossible moment. Imagine you fold a corner of a signed bill, and the corner slowly crawl across the bill at your command. The corner will fuss wherever you want on the bill, then it can be immediately hand out to spectator as a souvenir. Gimmick included Customized to you local currency Works with any currency Video Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7r2D-R-ID0 |

Too bad the trailer is so edited (in typical SansMinds fashion) and never shows the corner animating across the bill in the actual real world performance footage.

What I like best about this is that it's the holy grail trifecta. What I like second best is that words can not describe how crazy this effect is.

In contrast to cornered , I think this is a pretty decent piece of magic , if it works just like in the video . I do think there's ways the magician can prove that no magnet is involved . Just like with IT , magicians can prove using various methods that no thread is present anywhere , thus this rules out the method in the spectator's mind . In face in the end , the moving corner actually attached itself onto the middle of the bill . They may think a magnet is moving the corner , but they will rule out this method once they see the corner is actually attached to the middle of the bill .
This looks like it's workable with plastic currency , I'm really excited about this .

I wonder if it will work with Canadian plastic bills.

Looks good just wondering is that corner now missing from the beginning ? Or just folded back . If the corner is folded back then its not effective . The corner magically moved so it should no longer be there right ?

The corner is neat but I would rather see the presidents face move then end up at the end of the bill, misprinted bill that would be Cool ! Coming soon TRAVEL 2 lol !

I watched the DVD. Haven't made the gimmick or tried it out yet, so this is just a first impressions review. I'll be honest in saying that I pretty much hate Sans Minds for all the reasons we already know, but I will say that this one may actually be doable in the real world. The DVD is well done and the teaching is pretty clear. There is a live performance although the camera cuts away at most of the key moments. So I would say it is only a quasi live performance. The method is pretty clever but will require some basic arts and crafts and this one is definitely not self working. You will have to be on your toes to perform this and, because of the method, angles are a consideration. Your bad angle is anyone standing on your right. You can cover this somewhat with a slight body turn to the right. The nice thing is that because all attention should be on the bill, that takes some of the heat off the angles. Bottom line, you wouldn't want to do this for more than 2-3 people at a time.
Because there is a lot going on at once, choreography is important. If done properly, you are clean at the end. The bill can be signed and handed out in its altered state. Cool souvenir for sure so you'll want to make up several for each show. Fortunately, once you construct the main gimmick, constructing the give-away bills is fairly straightforward. As for reset, seems like it should be pretty quick. You can probably do it in the open once you get proficient at it. So at least for now, this one seems promising. More to come. |

Great first thoughts emyers99... Would this work with plastic type bills as I live in Australia?? How clean would you say the Bill is at the end aka would the spectator figure out anything??

Not sure about plastic bills. I think it could work. As long as you can fold and crease the corner, and can permanently attach the corner to the middle of the bill, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
The signed bill can be given away at the end and it's clean. The moved corner can be pulled off if someone really pulls on if and tries to pry it off but that would be rare I'm guessing because it is a cool looking souveneir. There aren't really any clothing requirements but you are much better with dark clothing, black being ideal. Not necessary but makes your angles better. |

Just got mine. I'll just say... if you can do the self-folding bill, you can do this. It's pretty practical. I love the visual and the idea of leaving the spectator with an impossible bill. Will have to give it a shot today and keep all posted here.
