Classic Card Magic 1 – Paul Lelekis
$8.00 http://www.lybrary.com/classic-card-magic-i-p-822162.html I know it is hard to believe but Paul Lelekis has yet another new ebook out for your perusal. This is the first in a series of Paul's takes on classic card effects. He teaches his version of four of the great card effects and even throws in a routine from Harry Loryane. What a bargain! Red Hot Tarpon Opener - First off, you get Paul's version of Red Hot Mama (Chicago Opener). He has cleaned some of the moves up to make it more deceptive. A.C.A.A.N., the Warrior - Paul has simplified the ACAAN concept that makes it accessible to the average card worker. Comedy Six Card Repeat - Another classic and Paul's version uses no gaffs. The Homing Card (the Five Card Trick) - If you have ever seen Fred Kapps perform this, you know you want to add it to your arsenal. Bonus Effect - Any Even Black Spade - Harry Lorayne. What can I say? If it is from Harry, you know it's good. Although I am a fan of hard copy books and magic, I have to admit you get a great deal of good magic here for an exceptionally low price. All the effects are within the skill level of just about everyone reading this so if you are looking for a few new tricks you can add, download the book. You won't be sorry. |

I just bought this. I like how in both the 6 Card Repeat and the Homing Card he goes into the effect from a full deck, not a suspicious packet. I think this is important for 6 Card Repeat, that the cards appear to be fairly counted at the outset.

I should add that the 6 Card Repeat and the Homing Card can be done impromptu with a borrowed deck.

This is a great book as far as I have looked at it. The only item I have studied closely so far is the first one - Red Hot Tarpon Opener. It's the best version of this I have read!

Paul Lelekis' Classic Card Magic 2 has now been published. I need to finish version 1 before I tackle this one which is waiting for me. A quick scan shows it to be a very worthwhile source of entertainment - as are his many other publications.

I have the second one. Just haven't had the time to look at it yet.
