Hi,
I'm really loving reading and performing suggestion based effects such as ones in building blocks by jermay...true mysteries 1 and 2 etc. Even though its not 100% it makes you look like you have real powers...have you guys got any books or any material to do with suggestion to recommend to me?? Banacheck's Psychological Subtleties is a great place to start. The naked mentalism series is also worth checking out and my final recommendation is Kenton Knepper's wonder words.
They should do nicely. |

It's actually a brilliant effect and one of my all time favorites... and it's free! You could also check Stuck, by James Brown, which is also free and pretty neat. |

"I create as I speak" by Lewis LeVal is a great starter as well.

Once you establish some credibility- almost anything you say can be believable. Tons of obedience & influence studies have confirmed this. If you haven't established credibility yet, just give the suggestion with illusory assurance. People are illogical & most of us will believe whatever we are told. If you say something will happen- more times than none- people will expect something.
I don't want to give out too much information but there's a lot out there on suggestions, persuasion & influence.

Thanks for the feedback...I totally agree with the credibility aspect..
That's why whenever showing someone any mentalism I start with sure fire effects to kinda build my reputation but then I go into suggestion etc... Sleepy |
