Please recommend your favorite TED Talk for mentalist/Magician and why this paricular TED is inspiring.
My favorite is: Amy Cuddy "Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are" ->taught me to be aware of my posture and the audience body language. Greg Gage "How to Control Someone Else's Arm with Your Brain" ->I think of PK touch immediately, also makes a nice presentation for one of Aaron Alexander's effect. Lennart Green's TED card magic->one of the best and funniest card magic performance. Please joining me for discussion,I think this is important,we should look outside the magic community for develop new magic, don't you think so? |

I loved David Blaine's.
The videos that show him trying different methods for holding his breath for 20 minutes are hilarious. For me this is a prefect example of a great performer who goes to great lengths to build his persona and sell his premise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KJTF2F6E1o |

Will Stephen: How to Sound Smart in Your TED Talk
https://youtu.be/8S0FDjFBj8o I'm not joking. This is a 10-minute stagecraft masterclass. In an art like mentalism, the direction and manipulation of attention is critical. This lays out the tone, timing and body language required to do that. (Okay, maybe it doesn't count as "inspiring", but it's definitely valuable to mentalists.)
