Hi guys,
Here is a little routine I've been doing for a long time. I know how laypeople react to it but am curious of how it feels for a magician.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-8a-ABs1gY Hope you enjoy. b |

Some nice variations on an old theme -- artistic, of course.
I can certainly see this in combination with other effect -- perhaps as final, thus ,the use of three coins rather than two makes sense. I also feel that the use of Chinese coins over traditional silver coins may even be more acceptable to audiences today (poker chips also) At least the story lines can be creative ("we just have to accept that China isn't going to go away")

I like it. Some fun red herrings for us magicians in there @ the end. Nice work as usual.

Generally nice, but w/respect to your request above, the false take at 0:47 looked like a false take to me, so it was no surprise you ended empty handed. If you go back and analyze it, you press your left hand flat into your right palm (almost bending the fingers backwards a bit) with your thumb at the side - that's not what it looks like when most people actually take a coin. I believe it's rather difficult to actually pick up a coin that way. |

I was skeptical at first but impressed shortly after, I enjoyed watching this and would hope to be able to have that skill level with coins one day....practice practice practice

Similar to 2-in-the-hand, 1-in-the-pocket.
I like it. I always watch videos silently which usually reveals oddities in a routine, and there were some odd hand movements that could be cleaned up in the first phases but overall I like what you did.
