After many reads and re-reads, I can't understand the instructions for this effect in Bannon's Impossibilia. I posted in Secret Sessions about this, so if any of you coin experts want to take a look, I'd appreciate it:

Specifically, step 4 confuses me. A few of the later steps seem fuzzy, but I have a feeling that if I understand step 4, the rest will make sense.

I couldn't tell if I should've just posted this in this forum in the first place (instead of secret sessions). This seems to involve some details wrt method, so I thought I'd play it safe.
