Hey guys!
Can anyone tell me where to learn/purchase this illusion? I'd love to learn it. Is it a "packet trick", or is the best place to learn it from a book or video/DVD? Thanks guys! -- Topher |

I'm not aware of any DVDs or videos teaching it, and there's not that many books on it either. Some places sell it as a packet trick, but I'm not keen on their methods.
My recommendation (and I'm thoroughly biased) is to learn it from my lecture notes 'ELLIS IN WONDERLAND'. The method is very clean and has received some very good feedback in these very forums. You can order it online at http://www.MagicUnlimited.com TIM ELLIS

I use this effect all the time! It's a killer! I got my set at a local magic shop, but try ordering it here:

Try looking up some old footage of Gene Raymond, one of Australia's, classic Magicians. He had a fine Eatng Razor Blade effect, dead simple to. If you can't find anything PM me I can let you know what he did.

I'll second Tim's recommendation of his. He taught that at a lecture in Nashville just a few years ago, one of the strongest versions I've seen!
BTW, Tim, say "hi" to Sue Ann for me! Rick

Have a look at Terry Seabrooke's approach or Jim Steinmeyer's needle swallowing for a different approach.

Scott Alexander has a great razor blade routine (among others) that he will be releasing on his newest set of DVD's through bobkohlermagic.com. Should be hitting the market by the end of April.
