I have been using the Don Alan Chop Cup(the big one)
since the '70's,and for a while had a small cheap one for carrying around. Well I made the move to the Loomis/Riser Cup recently and all I can say is this is IT! Perfect size and shape.Totally portable. You do the routine ON your hand.No table needed. I decided if I was going to get one of the best, I'd go all the way,and got the gold plated edition. It is really a nice piece of craftsmanship. Jim Riser's work is great.(there is a link to pictures of the set elswhere on this site) Dennis Loomis is a wonderful buisnessman.Kept me informed every step of the way.And offering all sorts of help and advise if needed. The set came with the Loomis routine as well as Aldo Colombini's routine which I love. Hat's off to Dennis and Jim both. |

I have purchased several items from Jim Riser. They are all flawless.
I don't think his work can be beat.

Dennis Loomis just sent me the gold plated Sacagawea dollar set for the Riser/Loomis cup.
(man, Dennis is the best) Jim Riser made these as well I believe. They are just as perfect as the cup. I believe this set will last forever and look great until then too! The routines possible with this set are countless. It really is a gem of close up magic. |
