Can anyone tell me whats the difference between these two sets:
Sun and Moon Hopping Half http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S10235 Hopping Half with Expanded Shell Coins & English Penny http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S9180 The description is exactly the same and I would like to know why is the sun and moon hopping half much cheaper than the hopping half with expanded shell coins |

So the list of coins are the same?
Expanded shell set 1. Sun and moon 2. Expanded shell dollar 3. Expanded shell penny? 4. Smaller shell penny 5. Regular half dollar? Sorry if I'm breaking a rule but I'm choosing to buy between the two and there's no clear explanation on what I'll be getting between the two. |

I would not bother to purchase the Tango coins.
Johnson Products have much better made coin sets, and made in America. http://themagicwarehouse.com/JO1418/Hopp......PRODUCTS They are guaranteed for life as well. If you break it they will replace it, no questions asked. |

The Hopping Half set is actually a great value. You basically get an Expanded Half Dollar Shell and Expanded English penny shell with a Sun and Moon Gaff. If you buy them separately adds up to much more than buying them in the bundle.
Another tip. A English penny does not fit in a Half Dollar expanded shell as it is a bit too large in circumference. You can shave it down with some sandpaper and it will fit in he Half Dollar shell. Lots of cool stuff you can do with that. I also have a Johnson Hopping half set I have owned for forever and it is superb! TC |

The Johnson HH set is, imho, the best value out there - period.

I grab the coin between my thumb and first 2 fingers and then I sand the edges in a curling type motion and go around the edge of whole edge. I keep doing that until it fits the shell. When it fits I use some lighter sandpaper to make the edges smoother. After that I finish it off with an emory board to make it smooth. I may make a video of it and post it so you can all see it. The thing about johnson set is the availability. I'm from malaysia and shipping here is really pricy. Penguin does free international shipping but do not carry johnsons. is tango's hopping halfs really that bad?

Not that it's bad , but one is better . I've never been dissappointed with Tango products for their price .
