Does anyone use or know of any uses of zoetropes in spooky? I find they make an excellent metaphor for life and death. And a great way to explain how ghosts are trapped on this plane. Something like this just seems ripe for the pickings.

I like this thought. Could there be a magic effect worked into one of these? I think the animation sequence would add A LOT to a spook performance or something thought provoking.
Have you made any of your own? What would be neet is to watch the animation then at somepoint you then look back and now the animation has changed..... Surely you might have some thoughts also Terrormaster. |

I just thought of 2 methods that would make that effect possible.

I have been thinking a little about the construction of such a thing and also about having the incorporated aspect of having the animation change..... an old record could serve as the base and is also a light weight alternative ....it then can even be mounted on the record player for the spin ....
Spookiest might be an old wind up record player? that old scratching record sound as the player spins with breaks in the sound that almost sound like words The old player is a gateway to the past letting us listen to people long gone ...watch moving pictures before motion pictures |
