This has been confirmed on the Genii forum.
Peter Kane died yesterday from cancer. He was 66. I had not seen this mentioned on the Café yet so that is why I am posting it here. Jazz Aces was one of the many Peter Kane creations. |

I am very sad indeed about Peter's death. Unknowingly, I have lived all my life less than 400 yards from his home in Denton, Manchester. I have jogged past his house numerous times without knowing it. It was only in the last six months I found out where he lived while talking to Jerry Sadowitz when ordering some stuff from International Magic. Since then I have been looking for an excuse to call around without being imposing or feeling goofy. I am doubly sad I never plucked up the courage and very sad to lose, perhaps, one of the world's best ever card men.
God is with you Peter and with your family at this sad time. Rest in peace and thank you.
Best wishes John

This is sad news indeed! Magic loses another great thinker and performer and at such a young age. My heart felt condolences go out to Peter’s family.
