You asked: "Does anyone have any good routines/tricks for a two person act?"
Goodness, they all can be good, or even great, if you put in the time and work. Just start with Tarbell, Volume One, and work your way through until you find something you both like. Then go to work on developing your bit of business that make up the act. You will find that the bits you come up with on your own will be better than stock bits you find published. If you start with someone else's routine as a framework, try to change and improve the bits, then add your own as you discover them. That's how an act is built. |

How about a comical cut and restored rope effect? Get one to hold the rope...and the other brings out a chainsaw to cut the rope. Realize that would be a bad idea, and grab a sword. Still a bad idea...An ax? Still a bad idea...maybe karate?...Maybe a flame torch or something? Then just produce a pair of scissors from the other's pants pocket or something. Continue with the effect...
