I've got an opportunity to perform magic for kids of age 8 to 10. Since this is my first time performing for kids, I'm looking for magic that works well for kids. Can anyone share some tricks(especially tricks using cards, coins, and thumb tip) for children? Thank you.

Sponge balls work well. David Regal's Puppy Ambitious is a winner.

Here is a link to an earlier thread. I'm sure there have been others as well.

OK, here are a few specific tricks that use cards, coins, TTs, (etc.)
Burling Hull's "ELUSIVE SILK". I've used it for years. My routine, which resets automatically, uses two 18" silks, and a TT. It's written up in detail in my book. It runs about 2 minutes Ten Cards Across. No set up! Works anywhere. Coins. My Misers Dream routine uses an ungaffed pail, and a few coins. It uses lots of kids, runs an average of 5 five minutes, resets in 5 seconds, closes my show. (I cannot follow it!) It's also written up in detail, in my book.It runs 5 minutes. But, it's the PRESENTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
